Our team knows that choosing the right caterer is an integral part of any successful event. At Medina Cuisine, our role is to help every client feel comfortable with their menu choices and theme. Our first goal however is to let each client know that their event is unique and we will do our best to exceed expectations every time.

Michael heads-up the fastest-growing premier kosher catering company in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Michael and his team have catered high level events for the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Ambassadors to France, India, Guatemala, Colombia, Hungary and Israel, as well as foreign leaders, including Prime Ministers Netanyahu and Bennett of Israel.
Recently, Michael and his team of professional chefs and event staff have catered multiple VIP events at 5-star hotels in and around the Nation’s Capital. Clearance-necessary government locations are commonplace for our team to cater on-site and bring our unique culinary approach. Medina Cuisine has also catered the most recent Chanukah parties at the Whitehouse serving 1000 guests.
Michael is a former volunteer EMT and is active in the local Jewish community. He has sat on the Boards of Directors of Friends of the IDF (FIDF mid-Atlantic), Israel Bonds Young Professionals Committee (DC chapter), George Mason University's Hillel and has chaired the Israel Advocacy Committee.
Michael lives in a suburb of Washington, DC with his wife & three daughters.

Originally from Israel, where she earned her nutrition degree, Shiri had a rich experience in organizing and managing training workshops for psychologists.
After moving to Los Angeles following her husband’s career, she found her new calling in catering and managing a production kitchen for four years. Two years ago she moved to DC and now we are excited to have her joining us as our office manager.
Shiri is detail oriented and client focused. She currently oversees making your catering experience a delight and a memory you will cherish.

With over fifteen years of experience in strategic, domestic and international event planning, Christi Rich brings a unique expertise to Medina Cuisine. She has a wealth of event management knowledge providing strategic event planning, project management, creative event design, and execution for clients. Known for planning luxury events designed to offer experiences not easily found elsewhere, Christi is dedicated to planning with a personalized approach leaving no detail overlooked.
Prior to joining Medina Cuisine, Christi planned events for leading corporate, non-profit, education and government organizations, such as the Smithsonian Institution and Georgetown University. Respected for her keen interpersonal and organizational skills, she leverages long- standing, solid relationships with hotels, caterers, décor companies, florists, event suppliers and other vendors, to plan meaningful events for clients. Her events have been featured in BizBash, Washington Life, Capitol File Magazine, Broad Run Magazine to name a few publications
