From the moment we first approached Medina menu options to suit every palate and food restrictions, advised on linens and presentation and took care of all the logistics. The hors d’oeuvre, starter, all 3 selection of main course as well as the desserts were just delicious and beautifully presented. Service was superb - food arrived at the right temperature to everyone (220 guests). Bar and barmen worked efficiently. Staff were courteous and professional. I just wanted to thank you again for catering a wonderful deli dinner last Sunday. I especially appreciated your answering all my “detailed” questions, and working with us last minute on how the meals would be delivered.

Everything worked out exceptionally well. Because of how the meals were wrapped and marked, we were able to deliver them extremely quickly and everyone was able to eat at the same time. They all really seemed to enjoy the large-portioned sandwiches, along with the delicious potato and israeli salads. But I think the hit was the mousse cups with the spoons. They looked so elegant!

Medina absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. First, they present their food like a piece of art. Our vegetarian dish (an acorn squash with a tofu-cherry-quinoa warm salad inside) was plated with a colorful orchid. Next, their food is delicious. Sometimes catered food can be a little dry and underwhelming and Medina was far from that. Everything was spiced/seasoned well and paired perfectly. They were also incredibly open to new ideas - [we] wanted to have a non-dairy waffle to make a bite-sized chicken and waffles hors d’oeuvres and, though they had never made it before, they accommodated our request and it was delicious! Last, their service is impeccable. Each time we suggested something new [their] first instinct was to ensure they’d be able to make it 100% kosher to accommodate our guests. [They] even went so far as to show guests who needed to see the heckschers on the bottles. Michael Medina was also there on the day of my wedding and made it a point to personally congratulate [us] and I thought that was a lovely touch. All in all, we are very pleased and impressed with Medina.

I would not hesitate to use The Kosher Kitchen Catering Company again and in fact, I look forward to my next event. To most organizations, customer service, presentation and quality are all necessary factors to be successful but to the customer, these factors create memories that impact lives. This past weekend, my husband, my children and I went down to Virginia to spend Shabbos with my son in Alexandria. I felt compelled to write to you about the dishes the Kosher Kitchen Catering Co. with its’ venerable hashgacha, the Vaad Harabanim of Greater Washington, prepared for our Shabbos meals.

They were exquisite from beginning to end. The Moroccan fish, stuffed chicken, London broil, rice pilaf, apple strudel, potato salad, beet salad, egg salad and all the other salads were absolutely delicious. Being from New York, we are not novices at experiencing the best that Kosher cuisine can offer. Rarely, have I eaten catered food and enjoyed everything from soup to nuts. I commend you, your chef and your entire staff and wish you a sincere Yaasher Koach.

You added to our Shabbos atmosphere and helped make it beautiful and memorable.
